Peter 3:15 urges us to always be ready to explain to anyone
the hope that is within us. That's another way of saying our
mission is to share Christ. We tell the story through hospitality.
We build buildings, wear out buildings, and re-model and build
new buildings because we try to open our facilities to the
community as much as possible. We tell the story through mission,
or outreach-from the missionaries we support in Bolivia, Panama,
and Lithuania to our partnership with the Church of the Reconciler
in downtown Birmingham. We tell the Story through various
styles of worship.
