Ephesians
4:11-12 speaks about the gifts that God has given for the
work of the church, for "building up" the Body of
Christ. We learn the Story by studying the Bible in every
age level, throughout our lives. We learn the Story by studying
our rich, 2,000-year history that includes great minds like
Saint Francis of Assisi, Martin Luther, and John Wesley. We
learn the Story by doing, or by "practicing" our
faith through acts of kindness, mercy, and service. We learn
the Story by identifying our gifts in events like Spiritual
Gifts Workshops. We learn the Story through Sunday School,
and a wide variety of short-term studies and on-going groups
for persons of all ages.
