Partial Entry from Day 2
After oversleeping (our alarm was in our missing luggage), I went to an amazing breakfast in my pajamas for lack of anything else to change into. Then we were off to the Market. There were dozens of vegetable stands, selling masses of foods. There were lots of meat shops, open air style, with meat hanging and laid out on tables. You could buy shoes, clothing, baby things, and various American imports. That's not quite what we were looking for. We found an internet cafe and spent a half hour online for 2 Bolivianos (about $.30). We returned to the hotel for a delicious lunch, then headed right back to the market. My mom (Ann P.), Bryan, Wes, and I ventured out out to find the Plaza. Lots of people to watch, and we saw a walking funeral procession, complete with a band.
